COSMETIC DENTISTRY

There’s no reason to hide behind less-than-perfect teeth. After all, a clean, healthy mouth and a beautiful smile are your best assets! Our practice specializes in a wide array of cosmetic dentistry procedures, including tooth whitening, crowns, and veneers, and we aim to give you the dazzling results you want—and deserve. We are devoted to giving you the exact look you desire, whether that requires delicate enhancement or more complex procedures. Here are just a few of the cosmetic dentistry procedures we offer that are designed to beautify your smile:

Tooth Whitening:
Many of us feel that our smiles are most striking when our teeth look especially white, but unfortunately, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and tobacco can leave behind ugly stains. To help you restore your gleaming, bright white smile and to give you an added boost of confidence, we offer professional bleaching. Please contact us today to find out if this procedure is right for you.

Veneers:
Veneers can perfect your smile by straightening crooked teeth, closing spaces between teeth, whitening badly stained teeth, hiding chips, and creating uniformity. Veneers, which are made of thin, customized material designed to slide over the teeth, look incredibly natural and are long-lasting. Please contact us today to find out more about veneers.

Crowns:
Also called caps, crowns are natural-looking and can whiten badly discolored teeth. They also repair and strengthen cracked, injured, or chipped teeth. Crowns minimize physical discomfort in and provide support to damaged teeth. Ultimately, crowns can improve the overall appearance of your smile while helping to prevent your teeth from breaking. For more information about crowns, please contact us today.

Bridges:
If you are missing teeth and therefore have trouble speaking or chewing and notice strain when biting, bridges may be the ideal procedure to help make your mouth healthy and beautiful again. Bridges literally bridge gaps between teeth by filling them with strong, natural-looking artificial teeth. Bridges are permanently cemented into the mouth. They are comfortable and proven to make teeth strong. To find out if bridges are the right option for you, please contact us today.

Tooth-colored Fillings:
Gone are the days when tooth ailments and cavities could only be treated with unsightly silver fillings. Today, modern, tooth-colored fillings made of durable resin or porcelain can be bonded to both your front and back teeth for a stronger, more natural-looking effect. These revolutionary fillings are virtually undetectable and are easy to apply. To find out if tooth-colored fillings are a good option for you, please contact us today.

Dentures:
Dentures are an excellent option for people who have lost all their teeth. Precisely designed and molded to fit one’s mouth, full dentures slide over the gums and are held in place with strong cheek and mouth muscles. They allow for comfortable chewing and keep the mouth and its surrounding facial features in proper alignment. To learn more about full dentures, please contact us today.

Partial Dentures:
Sometimes, dentures are the best option to solve the problem of missing teeth. When properly fitted and designed, dentures—which are strong, comfortable, and virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth—can provide extra chewing comfort, maintain facial structure, and ensure added strength. To find out more about this option, please contact us today.

FAMILY & PREVENTATIVE CARE DENTISTRY

Preventative Care
Twice-daily brushings and regular flossing are excellent for maintenance between office visits, but a healthy mouth and beautiful smile require routine preventative care to stay that way. Our practice offers preventative care that includes regular oral examinations and cleanings, fluoride, and periodontal (gum disease) treatments designed to help you maintain your smile’s health and beauty. Keep your teeth and gums strong and disease-free. Contact our office today to schedule a cleaning or consultation.

Family Dentistry
Kids want to be comfortable, entertained, and respected. Adults want the best technology, the most informed doctors, and the highest quality care. Here, we understand that kids and adults have different needs and priorities, and we address them all. That's why we have extensive experience working with children—we can make their dental experience more enjoyable for everyone. Please contact us today for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Endodontics (Root canals):
Each of our teeth contains a long, thin strand of dental pulp—which provides the tooth with nutrients and nerves—that extends down to the tooth’s root. If the pulp becomes infected or injured, the tooth’s nerves die and often, without endodontic treatment, the tooth dies as well. Root canals are designed to save such damaged teeth. Since root canals always leave the tooth in a weakened condition, a crown is necessary to prevent the tooth from breaking. To learn more about root canals, please contact our office today!

Periodontics:
Unfortunately, periodontal (gum) disease can lead to more than just an unsightly smile—it can cause loss of teeth and eventually, if left untreated, serious health problems. Called gingivitis in its early stages, periodontal disease is caused by excessive toxic bacteria (found in plaque) that attack your mouth’s soft tissues. Early warning signs of the disease include red, swollen, bleeding gums. If caught early, we can help you reverse the damage or, if detected late, we can use one of many effective cosmetic dentistry procedures to restore your mouth to a healthy, beautiful state. For more information, please contact our office today.

Extractions:
In only the most extreme and necessary cases, we may extract a tooth in preparation for another dental procedure, such as dentures. If you have any questions about tooth extractions, please contact us today.

Intraoral Camera:
The intraoral camera is a revolutionary diagnostic dental tool allowing us to identify potential problems within the mouth early on. The tiny intraoral camera can be inserted into a patient's mouth, taking pictures of the teeth and displaying the images on a computer screen. Using the intraoral camera saves time and makes problems easily visible to both patient and doctor. Patients can view the areas we will be working on, making procedures more understandable. The accompanying software also provides clear and accurate data so that the best treatment options can be selected. To learn more about the intraoral camera, please contact our office today.
